Tracking out all the various incompetencies, the memory management and overflow problems with the JS are well known, however the current attempts to patch/fix these problems generate significant slowdowns for the majority of scripts.
has some more data from 2005 http://laurens.vd.oever.nl/weblog/items2005/closures/
Though I am looking for a faster data management core that can handle both the dynamic loading and posting of data structures as well as function as a pass through function scripter (recursion trees to structured functions as data elements) but there are few effective methods.
this http://taffydb.com/index.cfm released last week appears to have some efficient macro structures, however its use for nested and composite node data management is obviously limited. Its primary claim is transparent data caching and server posting, so yet another element to strip if it doesn't get enhanced soon...

Sorry, you are not making a lot of sense...?
I do know about JS closures, circular DOM references and leaks (especially in pre-patched IE5/6 versions, since late 2007 with the update things have gotten better there). This script solves event related memory leaks in MSIE OK.
TaffyDB appear to be a JS database. Never used it, but it has nothing to do with event handling that I can see.
If you have any specific bugs or issues with this script I am glad to hear them.
