Have you thought of adding limited HTML formatting? For example, it would be harmless, but useful to allow the use of , etc.

Yup, big plans for the next revision :). I have a XML/HTML whitelisting parser written already, and am working on the display code. Basically at the moment I strip out all HTML for security concerns, but providing an option to HTML format posts is on the cards.

The next version kinda ground to a halt a while back :). So, the answer is no, for the moment.
