It would be great to be able to receive an email when a new response is posted on a topic. This way, if you're waiting for an answer to an important question, for example, you don't have to sit there reloading the page every 5 minutes to see if anybody has responded.
I actually created an account on here with that specific hope.

Sorry, accounts really only offer a fancier display of your username ;). The software does actually support multiple groups for accounts but I don't use it.
This script is really old now (has held up well over time) and I'm thinking of sometime doing a whole-site rewrite using Django or similar. Don't really plan any current changes to this script!
