hi -
I need to use antialiased text images as menu items to go over a multi coloured background
will the png fix (for proper alpha) work ok in the Freestyle menu script?

what are the relative advantages of the two menu scripts?
are there benefits to using Freestyle menus over Cascading popup menus?
(I only need one level of dropdown)

thanks
the  scripts here look ace!

The PNGfix is troublesome with absolutely positioned elements (will be an issue with either menu script), you may be able to apply PNGs to IMG tags in the menus, but you won't be able to apply to the menu backgrounds themselves if you want the links inside to be clickable (due to an IE bug).

Also, use FSMenu, it's a lot newer, easier and standards-based.

Good luck - Angus.
