I am changing the menu textual content slightly in our store and cannot seem to make the changes register in the homepage. The changes I've made simply change the popup menu inside the store and not on the home page. Please provide details on how to approach this.

Thank You

Please provide me with the means to obtain documentation on working with the cascade menus. I am working with it in a Miva Merchant site. Years ago our web developer implemented the cascade menu but they no longer work for us and I would really appreciate information on how to work with the menu. If I get feedback I would be more than happy to make a donation.

Thanks,

Jim

There'll be separate data files in that case.

If you want the docs. download the ZIP file from this website on the script's homepage. Inside you'll find "pop_syntax.html" which contains most of what you'll need to know to alter the menu display. "pop_help.html" might also be handy!

Dear Angus,

I am pleased that you responded. I am not sure how to access these files. I'm not sure where the ZIP files are with those names.

In what category do I find pop_syntax.html?

DHTML,  Javascipt, Popup Tooltip or other?

Thanks,

Jim

1) Go to the http://www.twinhelix.com homepage.
2) Click on "Cascading Popup Menu" in the main list of scripts.
3) Click the "zipfile" link in the "Download" section of that page.
4) Extract with an unzipping program into a folder, the file will be in there.

Good luck - Angus.

Dear Angus,

Thank You for the links you've posted. With respect to the main script I am wondering where I can find pop_style.css? On our home page it does not appear to be within the <HEAD> section as it should be. Perhaps I am searching for it incorrectly. Our site is www.quikindustrialsupply.com

The popuip menu does show on the homepage, but I do not find the pop_style.css file.

Thanks,

Jim

Er... you have viewed the HTML source on your own webpage, I assume? The CSS for the menu is right there in the HTML of that very page. Alter it as needed!
